What we’ve accomplished

Since early 2004, Creek Kids Care has grown from two participating children to over 150 families, generating over $12,000 in donations for Fresh Start Walnut Creek, JF Kapnek Trust and Tsunami Relief.

Creek Kids started out with kids in our neighborhood, then swim team, then our school community and it's grown in wonderful ways to reach lots of other kids and teens throughout the Walnut Creek area. Groups who have contributed and participated in Creek Kids activities include members of a local swim team, various church youth groups, and several Brownie and Girl and Boy Scout troops. (New participants are always welcome!)

Creek Kids know that they are making the world a safer, more loving place. In addition, involved parents and businesses are enhancing their own understanding of the complexities of poverty and homelessness in our area.
